Being a photographer is really not just a job for me, it's a passion. I adore capturing people being themselves, and I adore creating images that can portray a person doing something fun. During a bareback horse ride with one of my horses I realized how pretty the sky, the tasseled corn, and the light was and I thought it would be fun to photograph my hubby! He did SO well with me bossing him around so I could complete my vision!

2011 Senior

I had SOOOOO much fun with this session! Kiona brought her last year's prom dress to be photographed in and whooooo-eeeeee!! It was such a fun dress to photograph and of course Kiona looks amazing in it! It was really fun to get to know her and her mom! Thanks Kiona! can't wait for session #2

Cali

I am lovin' all the little girls that have been hangin' out with me at the studio! Cali was a cute little 2-year-old bundle of energy! It was fun to capture her on the move! She was active, but she still had such a sweet innocence about her.

Lovely Lilies

There's is not much cuter than little girls! Pink, flowers, squeals! Just all around cute! Lily is my husband's cousin and is not only sitting up she is on the move! She learned how to crawl the week of the session! She was still more scooting than anything so we were able to keep her localized and happy! It was so fun to snap, click, and capture the cutest expressions from this sweetie! Thanks Laura for bringing her!

Charity 2011 Senior

I got to meet Charity and a whole crew of people last week for her senior session! It was fun! Among her fans were her puppy and her boyfriend. Both snuck in a for a few shots! I adore pets and anytime there is an opportunity for some pet photography I'm all in! Thanks Charity! It was fun!

I LOVE this girl! You may recognize her from about April when I was photographing my 2010 Christa Landmark Photography Models. Tori is so sweet and caring. It's always fun to get together with her (and her mom!) and chat. Things get even better when we're together doing her senior session!

Matthew came to me with his sweet car! He and his dad buy old cars, fix them up, and resell them. AWESOME!

Fantastic Session

For those of you that don't know this yet, I adore animals. Really. I have 4 horses, 3 dogs, and an outdoor cat. If we could have more I probably would, but I'm too busy for more. lol I would say that I inharited this from both of my parents. They have 3 horses and 3 dogs. I grew up with cats, dogs, hamsters, rat, birds.... basically everything you can image was ours at one point.

SO for Father's day I was blessed photograph my dad and mom with their horses. They live in Ortonville, MN and it's a b-e-a-utiful area! Rolling prairie hills, watering holes with trees, and cows. Very beautiful. My parents have really gown into having a loving marriage that works smoothly. I enjoy seeing that they love each other. That's was my goal with this session was to show their love.

Burch Family

This last week was my "Celebrate Family" week and it was a joy to either meet new families or see fun repeat families! This beautiful family are friends from my church (Community Bible) and I love them. It was fun to work with them to create some fun family photos. We actually tried family photos late winter and it was just a bad day for the little ones. And that DOES happen. So this last week was simply beautiful weather and we got some great stuff! Cody, Serena, and Crew

I know I've said this before, but I LOVE loyal clients. It is a conformation to me that I not only LOVE what I do, but that I'm good at it. Plus, I adore families and it's so fun to watch them grow. This last winter I was honored to photograph the infant's newborn photos and the rest of the children too. So seeing them a few months later is SO fun! Mary, the infant, has SO much more personality and is a doll! Thanks guys for your loyalty and making my session spunky!

The Crosby Family

I recently was introduced to this sweet family at church and I just adore them. The mom and dad are just so gentle, fun, and have SO much love for their little girl! As for their daughter, I am in love! lol I love the "challenge" of getting a shy or stand-off-ish child to have fun being photographed. It makes my job fun and rewarding! By the end of our session she was loving it! It was especially wonderful to do this session because none of them have ever received or been apart of professional photos. Not for their engagement, wedding, or child photos. I was HONORED to be the first and to provide them with memories that can be passed on and that last a life time. Thanks so much guys!
